Question Ancient Items

hi just bought a permanent ancient set through the smithy and the durability is being depleted slowly without being able to repair it, well guess what will happen in the future once it can`t be repaired, do we have to do something for it to be repaired? or it is just game mechanic? with this and your helpful insights will help us understand the difference of limited expiry items and items that can`t be repaired. Thanks!

If you are talking about lucky ubers, then that's how it is normally intended to be by Webzen. But they can be repaired with Jewel of Extension (obtainable by refining other lucky items in Elbeland by David NPC).

i see, so uber items bought from smithy considered as lucky ubers which can be used for jewel of extension refinement, so with this i suggest adding or revamping the current spin of wheel inside the server for us to gain lucky or unlucky opt uber parts, i suggest to remove the trash jewels inside the spin of wheel and replace it with random opt uber parts for us to draw parts as refinement or gear, the current mechanic of using wcoins to buy a random uber part from smithy to use as refinement for jewel of extension contradicts the word lucky items and some confuse them. well, this is only an opinion. might as well suggest new ones when i explore the server through the proper forum channel in the future, might as well add this suggestion too. anyways thanks for the insight.

This is how lucky items work. It is different from Tier-1 or Tier-2 ancient sets that can be repaired.

Yes, you can get a jewel of extension by refining lucky items. However, from the current release, I'm not sure where we can loot lucky tickets or how it is obtained (this is the one that will be transformed into lucky items, then you can transform them into jewels of extension if you refine them)
